New Client Website Live!

I am very happy to announce the launch of a new website for Ben F Kushner, Company. Ben F Kushner, have been trusting TWS to host, support and create their website for many years and it was time for a refresh on the old design to take into account the larger screens, faster connections and newer technology that is now supported by browsers since their first site. It took just a few weeks to bring their now tired looking website into the 21 Century and the results are a more mature looking site, with a classier feel and more traditional coloring.

OK.. so I have decided that I will attempt to post a new blog entry every Friday (when schedule permits) so that I can fill you all in on stuff I have read about this week on various sites etc.

LipsSo, let's start the ball rolling with this great article about the fact that the V&A in London, has purchased the Rolling Stones Tongue Logo for $92,500!!!!!!!!! Yup you heard me right, now bare in mind that anyone looking for a great logo identity can get one for far less, but really, it is a very well known logo mark, and has stood the test of time for decades. You can read about it all here by following this link - here is the link!

Next up google released their new Chrome browser for Windows users.......

Hey Vincent...

Vincent Van GoghWell I finally did it. After designing, discarding and just plain getting upset at myself, I have finished the new look design for the TWS website. You know, it's a very difficult thing for a designer to be comfortable and somewhat happy, with a design for themselves - so much so that I think I understand why Vincent Van Gogh lobbed off an ear.

Anyways, it's also difficult when you're super busy with client work and your "stuff", quite rightly, gets pushed to the bottom of the daily to-do list, which brings me nicely to a website I wanted to share with you....http://www.rememberthemilk.com which is a super little FREE web app that enables you to simply make check lists of things you need to do / buy / organize or what-have-you. Of course, I found eventually that making a list and updating it warranted me creating a paper list to remind myself, and as I hate to waste paper (yup - now TWS is 99% paper free!!) it was not working for me personally.
