A nice surprise today was to find that my Twitter page at www.twitter.com - has been listed as the #38 most incredible twitter themes. The article on industry blog Instant Shift - www.instantshift.com - has some truly beautiful examples from twitter and I am honored to be surrounded by some exceptional artists!
So the new year is upon us and it's one that holds many hopes and dreams for millions of Americans. Of course we have our new president this year, and whether you voted for Obama or not, we have to back him in helping to turn things around. One thing you can be assured of is that TWS will be pushing the boundaries of our technology further to increase the usability of our clients websites.
Do you know what one of the most gifted items at Christmas was? Cell phones and mobile communication devices. With that in mind something we have been working on since before the Holidays will be live soon on all of our Media Manager websites - a full mobile version. Developing for mobile platforms is difficult, because there are so many different browsers, devices and connection speeds. We have decided to create a plain text version of our sites - dynamically of course - that will supply information for movies such as title, synopsis, available show times and even buy now ticket buttons that will lead users to your preferred online ticket sales affiliate. This exciting new step for Media Manager again pushes our technology, and your service to your visitors to a new high.
Another new innovation will be our "quick View" button on sites that will present a newly formatted easy to read page that will display the movies and showtimes for today only - with a fully printable version just a click away. This new service will allow those using a regular computer, but with limited time, to click a button and see at a glance what is showing today only. A feature that has been requested by users and clients alike.
So what else is coming this year? Well we have so many things we are working on to improve our services to our clients both old and new. Some we don't want to mention as we know we are copied and followed - so they will just remain as surprises.
We did roll-out a new service for an existing client on an all new website - Spotlight Theatres opened the doors of their all-new purpose built beautiful location in Greensboro to much fanfair. The all new website - http://www.spotlighttheatres.com - features our brand new branded video trailer player. This displays both in a window on their homepages, and also full screen, high quality video trailers of upcoming releases. Fully maintained and updated by TWS with NO WORK for the client at all, it provides an engaging and interactive experience for their users and has proven to be a huge success. If you are interested in this service please contact us directly - it's a low price, high gain service!
Here's to an exciting year of innovation and economic upturn for everyone -

Just wanted to make a shout out - and a call for people to vote :) - our new website got featured on 101 Best Websites.
With many, very accomplished designs and websites on their website, it's really nice to be listed.
OK, I have decided to write a little something this time, rather than the usual list of links. I'm drawn to write this because it's happened a few times now, and it's not that I'm upset, worried or even angry, it's just something that some people don't quite understand and I'm going to try and explain a few things, even if it helps out other people that should really pay for the advise..... you know who you are.

Not too long ago, and this happens frequently, a company contacted me because they wanted to "revamp" their website. It's getting old and they think it needs to look newer. Firstly, a good design should last the test of time, and shouldn't be the main reason to change things around.
