Hey Vincent...

Well I finally did it. After designing, discarding and just plain getting upset at myself, I have finished the new look design for the TWS website. You know, it's a very difficult thing for a designer to be comfortable and somewhat happy, with a design for themselves - so much so that I think I understand why Vincent Van Gogh lobbed off an ear.
Anyways, it's also difficult when you're super busy with client work and your "stuff", quite rightly, gets pushed to the bottom of the daily to-do list, which brings me nicely to a website I wanted to share with you....http://www.rememberthemilk.com which is a super little FREE web app that enables you to simply make check lists of things you need to do / buy / organize or what-have-you. Of course, I found eventually that making a list and updating it warranted me creating a paper list to remind myself, and as I hate to waste paper (yup - now TWS is 99% paper free!!) it was not working for me personally.
Other things to note in the LARGE absence since the previous post are the fact that we have a new presidente' election arriving here pretty soon - not going to get into politics (I found out this was a touchy subject when I first came to America over 10 years ago) - just wanted to say that the current economic climate will continue for some considerable time even after the new boss is in power - not one man can fix the current issues! People, business' and investors can however. Invest in the efforts, skills and determination within yourself and those who turn up to work for you everyday, spread the good karma while you can, and remember that, however bad things may get, someone ALWAYS has it worse!
On a final note, I did not realize quite how many people used to read this blog, and as such I will be posting here at least once per week - specifically with some "stuff" I find on this interweb thingie. I'll try to cover many subjects just as if we were getting to stand around the water cooler on a friday afternoon, discussing the weird, wonderful and downright silly things of the week.
